CFOS Seminar: Biogeochemical cycling in the Arctic Ocean
Date: Sept. 29, 2021
Time: 3:30-4:30 p.m.
Location: Online
The College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences will hold a seminar on Wednesday, Sept. 29, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. via Zoom. The speaker is Laramie Jensen, who is a postdoctoral fellow at the Cooperative Institute for Climate, Ocean, and Ecosystem Studies at the University of Washington.
"Biogeochemical Cycling of Trace Metals and Circulation in the Arctic Ocean"
Her talk will focus on the physical and chemical controls on trace metals and how we can use their different elemental “personalities” to learn more about water mass origin and circulation in the Arctic basins.
Attendees must register in advance for the Zoom ID and passcode. Email amaguilarislas@alaska.edu for more information.
