CFOS Seminar: North Pacific Continuous Plankton Recorder Survey

The College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences will hold its next weekly seminar on Wednesday, Feb. 9, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. via Zoom. The talk will be offered by Sonia Batten, who is the executive secretary of the North Pacific Marine Science Organization in Canada, and Clare Ostle, who is a research fellow at the Marine Biological Association in the United Kingdom.

The North Pacific Continuous Plankton Recorder Survey

This presentation will cover the CPR background, the history of the North Pacific survey and research highlights that demonstrate the diversity of applications, such as the impacts of marine heatwaves and trophic interactions.
