CircleIn pilot available for spring 2022 courses

Updated Jan. 11, 2022 to reflect a new presentation date of Jan. 11.

The CircleIn pilot will continue to be open to all courses for spring 2022.

This technology requires no effort from instructors except letting students know about the pilot by including information in your course syllabus, welcome materials, or resource links in Blackboard or Canvas.

There will be a presentation Jan. 11 from 11-11:30 a.m. through Zoom (https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81402490247)
 

for instructors to learn more information about this student support technology and ask questions.

CircleIn technology is a study tool that focuses on enhancing peer-to-peer academic engagement, amplifing outcomes associated with peer-to-peer learning, normalizing and encouraging help-seeking behaviors, and bolstering academic integrity through transparency. Through this product, UAF can support student engagement and collaboration for all students, distance and in-person.

Additionally, students can win gift cards and scholarships for helping classmates, asking questions, sharing resources, examination prep, utilizing task management, and participating in study groups.
