COVID-19 vaccine attestation, change in email schedule
If you haven’t done so yet, please submit your COVID-19 vaccine attestation. If you are vaccinated, you may opt in to a regular drawing to win a prize. Prizes include parking passes, Munch Money and gift certificates to the UAF Bookstore. The information regarding vaccination status will only be used to gauge levels of vaccination at UAF through overall numbers, percentages and trends, and not by individual.
Vaccinations are free and widely available. The FDA-approved Pfizer vaccine will be administered at a vaccination clinic Sept. 9 in the Akasofu Building lobby. Students in Fairbanks can schedule a vaccination appointment through the Student Health and Counseling Center’s online portal. For more information about the COVID-19 vaccine, visit the CDC website.
As Chancellor White noted in his Aug. 24 COVID-19 email, his regular communication will move to Thursdays starting this week, with occasional
changes to the day or frequency as needed.
Thank you for doing your part to keep Nanook Nation strong and healthy!
