Alaska Sea Grant invites proposals for seed grants to support the planning of community-based research partnerships and engagement of communities on research teams.

The goal of this Request for Proposals is to prepare community-academic partnerships to successfully collaborate on the design of research projects related to improving understanding and management of Alaska’s coastal and marine ecosystems. These grants will not fund research, but aim to strengthen community-academic partnerships for future research.

Proposals may request up to $20,000 and projects should occur July 1, 2024 – Jan. 31, 2025.

Deadline to apply: May 28, 2024
