The Delta Harvest Wrap-Up is scheduled for Dec. 7, 6-8:30 p.m. at the Delta Career
Advancement Center in Delta Junction.
Speakers include Mingchu Zhang, Jodie Anderson and Bob Van Veldhuizen of the University
of Alaska Fairbanks Agriculture and Forestry Experiment Station; Dean Houchen and
Lloyd Wilhelm of the U.S. Department of Agriculture; and Phil Kaspari of the UAF Cooperative
Extension Service.
Topics include cover crops research, malting barley and wheat trials, and management
of wild larkspur.
