Crews from Facilities Services are continuing to clear parking lots and walkways after this week’s storm. According to the National Weather Service, the storm broke records for 24-hour precipitation levels, with nearly 2 inches of liquid precipitation falling during one 24-hour period.

The Facilities Services team appreciates everyone’s patience as crews clean up the large amount of snow, slush and ice that resulted.

Members of the campus community are encouraged to avoid parking in uncleared lots to allow heavy equipment access to those areas for snow removal.

If you are walking or driving around campus, please allow extra time to reach your destination and use caution, as roads and walkways may be slick.
