First responder shares tips on home emergency preparedness

In a free, statewide webinar, learn how thoughtful preparedness can help keep you safe and healthy during emergencies and disasters, when fire departments and emergency medical services are stretched thin.
Leif Albertson, a health, home and family development agent with the University of Alaska Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service and a first responder, will discuss home emergency preparedness through the lens of his experiences. Understanding how these systems function will offer guidance on what you can do before, during and after emergencies to care for yourself and the people you care about.
