Graduate School to host mock 3MT competition

As a sample of the official competition that will take place in February 2022, the Graduate School is hosting a mock 3MT competition with some of your favorite professors! The event will take place in Arctic Java on Thursday, Jan. 13, at 4 p.m.
Guest competitors will present their research via Zoom within a three-minute time limit and with the use of one static slide. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to participate in the event by joining the watch party to be held in Arctic Java. Enjoy a coffee or cocoa on the Graduate School while you watch the competition and vote on the People's Choice Award.
Competitors will be:
- Mary Beth Leigh, professor of microbiology
- Amy May, assistant professor of communication
- William Schnabel, dean of the College of Engineering and Mines
- Sean Asiqłuq Topkok, associate professor of education
