International joint seminar on Arctic fisheries

Date: Dec. 6, 2021
Time: 4-5 p.m.
Location: Online

A lecture on ocean sciences featuring Erik Schoen of UAF's International Arctic Research Center and Naoki Tojo of Hokkaido University will take place on Dec. 6 from 4-5 p.m.

With climate change ongoing, the Arctic has exhibited some of the most dramatic changes in land, atmosphere, and ocean systems. To improve our understanding of the changing Arctic we need to establish an extensive network for exchanging knowledge and promoting discourse from different scientific communities which share a common interest in the Arctic. This seminar series aims to promote international collaboration between the International Arctic Research Center at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and the Arctic Research Center at Hokkaido University primarily focused on ocean sciences.
