UAF eCampus and UAF Faculty Accelerator are sponsoring a public lecture titled "Decentering Whiteness in Antiracism Initiatives" on Wednesday, Oct. 20, from 4-5:30 p.m. via Zoom. Cana Uluak Itchuaqiyaq, an Iñupiaq technical communication scholar and assistant professor at Virginia Tech, will discuss the problematic orientation toward whiteness that pervades many antiracism initiatives in academia.
