Melissa Good wins aquaculture award
Alaska Sea Grant mariculture specialist Melissa Good recently received the U.S. Aquaculture Society’s Distinguished Early Career Award. This award recognizes an individual involved with U.S. aquaculture for 10 years or less who exhibits outstanding leadership or innovation in research, education, extension, or industry development in the field.
Good is the coordinator of the UAF Kodiak Seafood and Marine Science Center and leads the new Alaska Mariculture Research and Training Center. The award was presented during the Aquaculture America 2024 event held Feb. 18-21 in Austin, Texas.
