UAF is celebrating first-generation students during National First-Gen College Student Week, Nov. 8-12. Find out more on the First-Gen AK page, and join us for these activities!
- Monday, Nov. 8, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.: Grab some first-gen merchandise and get your picture taken in Dine 49!
- Tuesday, Nov. 9, 7 p.m.: Esports gaming: Throwback games in the esports lounge!
- Tuesday, Nov. 9, 7:30 p.m.: First-gen pub trivia at the Pub! (Must be 21+)
- Wednesday, Nov. 10, 5-7 p.m.: Giving Day in the Pub! (Must be 21+)
- Thursday, Nov. 11, 1 p.m.: EPSCoR STEM presentation with keynote speaker Thomas Hughes in the Wood Center multilevel lounge. RSVP for a free lunch is closed for this event!
- Friday, Nov. 12, 6:30 p.m.: Poetry slam in Arctic Java, hosted by Donald Crocker
