Nominations sought for outstanding student awards

The University of Alaska Fairbanks Student-Faculty Awards Committee is seeking nominations for the 2023 outstanding graduating student awards:

• The Marion Frances Boswell Memorial Award, which recognizes an outstanding bachelor’s degree candidate
• The Joel Wiegert Award, which recognizes an outstanding associate degree candidate
• The Gray S. Tilly Memorial Award, which recognizes an outstanding nontraditional graduating student

Once a student is nominated, the committee will check the student's eligibility, including their GPA and graduation date. Eligible students will be notified that they have been nominated and then will be responsible for soliciting letters of support. The nominations deadline is Monday, March 20 at 5 p.m. To nominate a student, fill out the online nomination form.
