David G. Churchill will present “Molecular probes for reactive oxygen species studied in animal inflammation models” in a One Health seminar at 4 p.m. Feb. 21.

Churchill is a professor in the Department of Chemistry at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, in Daejeon, Korea. He is the head of the inorganic chemistry division and the editor in chief of Main Group Chemistry  since early 2021. His research focuses on specific aspects of molecular neurodegenerative disease.

Churchill has presented worldwide, received distinguished awards, and collaborated internationally through his teaching at Columbia University. Churchill is from Amherst, New York, and is an avid ice hockey fan. He currently lives in “Science Town,” Daejeon, with his wife and two children.
