Panelists to discuss business careers in aviation
The next event in the Spring Speaker Series, “Careers on the Business Side of Aviation,” will be held from 4-5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1, online via Zoom.
The Spring Speaker Series is hosted by University of Alaska Fairbanks College of Business and Security Management’s sport and recreation business program.
Attendees will learn about different career paths in aviation and the education and employment experiences needed to pursue them. Speakers will discuss the technical and business skills needed in the aviation industry, as well as professional development opportunities and how to get started in the field.
Featured guests will include the following speakers:
- Elle Bardsley - Beech 1900 first officer, Ace Air Cargo
- David Bishko - acting chief human resources officer, University of Alaska
- Glen Graham - flight control supervisor, Everts Air Cargo
- Mikaela Young - fire boss pilot, Dauntless Air
