Panelists to discuss sustainability in outdoor recreation

The next event in the Spring Speaker Series, “Sustainability in Outdoor Recreation,” will be held from 4-5 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 15, online via Zoom.

The Spring Speaker Series is hosted by University of Alaska Fairbanks College of Business and Security Management’s sport and recreation business program.

Attendees will have an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of what sustainability means in the outdoor industry. 

Featured guests will include the following speakers:

• Danielle Stickman - Alaska deputy director, The Wilderness Society
• Emily Sullivan - Arctic program manager, Northern Alaska Environmental Center
