Phill Harrington to lead Signers’ Business Office

Phill Harrington, the new executive officer for the Signers’ Business Office, has nearly 30 years of fiscal management experience working at the institute, college and central administration levels.

Phill Harrington is the new executive officer for the Signers’ Business Office. A UAF alumnus and longtime employee, he has over 28 years of fiscal management experience working at the institute, college and central administration levels.

For the past eight years, Harrington has worked for the Institute of Arctic Biology. He previously held positions in the Office of Finance and Accounting and the College of Engineering and Mines.

“I have been very fortunate to work with incredible people at UAF — supervisors who are great mentors, awesome faculty and co-workers who make our work life so much better,” he said. “I look forward to joining the Signers’ Business Office team working to provide dynamic and high functioning administrative support for our partner departments and their directors.”
