Representatives sought for UAF Climate Summit

The UAF Climate Scholars Program is calling for campus-wide representatives to attend and participate in a UAF Climate Summit gathering on March 23 from 1-4 p.m. in the Wood Center Ballroom. A reception will follow at the UAF Pub.

The goal of the summit will be to enhance UAFs ability to prepare today and tomorrow's climate change leaders across various disciplinary fields and sectors. Event objectives include:

• Facilitate mutual awareness of efforts underway and in development.
• Identify opportunities for alignment and reduce redundancy.
• Identify specific structural opportunities that would enhance the student experience if they are interested in climate change.
