Ryan Cortez named associate director of Military and Veteran Services

The UAF Department of Military and Veterans Services is excited to announce the selection of Ryan Cortez as its new associate director.

Cortez began his service with the university in 2016 and has previous experience in the Center for Student Rights and Responsibilities and Office of the Registrar. He joined the Department of Military and Veterans Services last September as a Veterans Affairs school certifying official.

In his new role as the associate director, Cortez will supervise all Veterans Affairs certifications as well as the certification of the annual UAF catalog by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. If you see Ryan in the hallway, please join the department in congratulating him!
