Schaible Auditorium refresh under way

A long-awaited refresh of Schaible Auditorium has begun and construction will extend through the summer. The work includes new finishes, lighting, and ventilation. 

At the front of the room, a new podium will be installed and the chalkboards, curtains, and projection screen will be removed. In their place, new audio/video technology will provide a better learning experience. The project will also install new seats to round out the refresh.  

During the work, spaces near Schaible may experience more noise and vibrations and the contractor will be mindful of ongoing classes and upcoming final exams in their work plan.  Completion of the project is expected by early August. Schaible will be back online for classes during the fall 2022 semester.
