Seeking feedback on new indicators for accreditation

Nov. 16, 2021

The vice provost's office is seeking feedback on a revised set of key performance indicators for UAF's new seven-year accreditation cycle.

Indicators are goal-based metrics of performance that we can measure and track over time. This helps UAF assess whether we are fulfilling our mission consistently, and whether there are areas we can improve upon. UAF’s institutional accreditor, the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities, requires that we conduct this type of institutional assessment regularly. UAF tracked 31 indicators during our last accreditation cycle from 2012-2019.

See the proposed new indicators and provide your feedback here. The form will be open for feedback until Dec. 18. For more information, email Michelle Strickland at mastrickland@alaska.edu.
