Seminar will explore open education, attitudes and values

UAF Faculty Accelerator and UAF eCampus will sponsor a seminar titled "As if People Mattered: The Intersection of Open Education with Existing Educational Practices" on Nov. 17 at 4 p.m. in Zoom.
Jonathan Lashley will discuss how the open education movement supports equity and access in education, and how our values, attitudes and beliefs about education generally drive us toward openness.
Lashley is the associate chief academic officer at the Idaho State Board of Education and a faculty mentor at the Association of American Colleges and Universities Institute on Open Education Resources.
