Sport and recreation business speaker series begins Sept. 28

Sport and recreation business professionals will share their experiences during a series of free public online discussions. The Fall Speaker Series is sponsored by the sport and recreation business program at the University of Alaska Fairbanks School of Management.

Guests from across the country will speak on a variety of topics each month from September through December. Presentations from previous events in this speaker series are available to view as recordings.

The first event, “Ticket Sales & Service in Professional Sports,” will be held from 4-5 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 28, online via Zoom. Attendees will learn more about careers in professional sport ticket sales and service. The featured speaker will be Aaron Lampkin, vice president of ticket sales and service for the soccer team Seattle Sounders FC.
