Research staff, faculty invited to join Research Integrity Committee
The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Office of Research Integrity are accepting nominations from research staff and faculty for the formation of the Research Integrity Committee.
The committee’s goal is to foster a high standard of ethical behavior for UAF research. Its primary purpose will be to review potential allegations of research misconduct and assess complaints and concerns that arise regarding UAF research activities. The nomination period will run through March 9.
Senior research staff and faculty are encouraged to review the Research Integrity Committee charter and consider applying. Students, staff and faculty are also encouraged to nominate senior staff and faculty that meet the criteria for this committee.

Committee members are required to be senior staff or faculty and should be knowledgeable about the content and operation of the university’s compliance and ethics program, with the ability to exercise reasonable oversight of the implementation and effectiveness of these programs.
