A cast of more than 30 performers will deliver “STRIKE! A Musical and Dramatic Revue” March 21-30 in the Salisbury Theatre on the University of Alaska Fairbanks Troth Yeddha’ Campus.

The production explores the oppression and perseverance of the working class through song and drama. It weaves together contemporary musicals, traditional protest songs and dramatic works by playwrights such as Clifford Odets, Langston Hughes and Diane Benson.

The event is presented by the UAF Department of Theatre and Film. Flyn Ludington, an adjunct faculty member in the department, devised the revue, and she will direct its production. Phillip Heilbron of Fairbanks arranged the music and will conduct it.

Performances will be Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. from March 21-30.

Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for seniors, military members and UAF employees. Entry is free for enrolled UAF students with Polar Express cards.
