UA Zoom training sessions for fall 2024

At the beginning of the Fall 2024 semester, UAF NTS Collaboration and Learning Spaces will offer UA Zoom Training sessions to anyone with UA Zoom account access. This includes any faculty, staff, or University of Alaska system students. Have an @alaska.edu email? You probably have a Zoom account! If you are new to the University and would like to learn more about Zoom and available features, or you’re already familiar with Zoom and want to have a quick refresher or learn something new, then these sessions are for you.

Fall 2024 Zoom Training Sessions

For the beginning of the semester, UAF NTS Collaboration and Learning Spaces is hosting Zoom Basics and Advanced training sessions. Please register for a time slot below that fits your schedule:

Zoom Basics
This training session will cover basic account settings, scheduling meetings, polls/ quizzes/surveys, meeting host best practices with security, chat and basic sharing.

                  

Zoom Advanced
This training session will cover breakout rooms, advanced sharing techniques, webinars plus registration and Q&A, and reports.

Once registered, join a training session by signing into UA Zoom with your UA username and password. If you have any issues, contact UAF NTS Collaboration and Learning Spaces through the UAF NTS Helpdesk at 907-450-8300 or 800-478-8226.

To take advantage of Zoom’s latest security and functionality features, remember to download the latest version of Zoom software within the Zoom client or navigate to alaska.zoom.us/download.
