UAF CTC Registration Bash happening on Aug. 15
The University of Alaska Fairbanks Community and Technical College (CTC) is hosting a community event on Thursday, Aug. 15 from 4–6 p.m. The Registration Bash will take place at the CTC Downtown Center at 604 Barnette Street.
This event is an opportunity for the Fairbanks community to learn more about UAF CTC programs through equipment demonstrations and activities while enjoying free food.
The event also serves as a one-stop shop for current and prospective students to sign up for fall semester classes. During the month of August, new students registering for 12 or more credit hours will be entered into a drawing for a free class, and current students registering for an additional class can win one free credit.
The $40 admission application fee will be waived at this event and CTC Student Services will be on hand to assist with applications for admission, advising, financial aid and class registration.
UAF CTC offers nearly 60 career-focused programs — many available 100% online. CTC also partners with community and industry organizations to offer relevant hands-on skill training and education to students, to fit the needs of current employers. CTC programs are housed in seven locations throughout Fairbanks and surrounding areas, including the Hutchison Institute of Technology, the Fairbanks Pipeline Training Center and the Aviation Technology Facility.
