UAF faculty featured at Military Writers’ Symposium

Nov. 16, 2021

Troy Bouffard, director of the Center for Arctic Security and Resilience at UAF, was recently invited to participate in the 2021 Military Writers’ Symposium.

The annual event was held at Norwich University, the nation’s oldest private military academy, and featured select experts on this year’s theme, “Global Conflict or Cooperation? Evolving Arctic Security.” Additional speakers included Dr. James Kraska, Dr. P. Whitney Lackenbauer, and former UAF faculty member Sam Alexander.

Each featured guest provided a solo presentation to a live auditorium and internet audience. The main event involved a panel moderated by Bouffard, which was broadcast live on C-SPAN.
