UAF receives water system excellence award

UAF has been awarded Ursa Minor status in Water System Excellence. The recognition from the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation is for achieving and maintaining compliance with the operator certification program and drinking water program in 2020.

UAF is provided with safe drinking water thanks to the hard work and ongoing efforts from UAF Facilities Services, specifically Mike Rego, Jim Hocking and Jereme Granger.
