Workshop: Personal and professional boundaries

Interpersonal boundaries are present in all relationships, both personal and professional. This topic involves recognizing when boundaries are problematic (too porous or too rigid) and why people may struggle to set and maintain good boundaries.

In this workshop delivered by ComPsych on Aug. 15 from 11 a.m. to noon, participants will learn techniques to effectively communicate boundaries and understand approaches to address and resolve internal obstacles to setting limits to experience healthy productive relationships.

Workshop Objectives
This training will help you:

  • Describe interpersonal boundaries and recognize when they become problematic
  • Consider vulnerabilities to the development of problematic boundaries
  • Change the way you communicate boundaries both personally and professionally
  • Practice setting limits and expectations in your relationship with yourself and others
