Safety

The Safety Department's priority is to ensure that the station is safe to all residents at all times. 

The department gets support from the UAF Environmental Health, Safety, and Risk Management (EHSRM) Department and works hand in hand with the Battelle-ARO HSE team to develop safe policies, procedures and trainings to the Toolik community. The department is also responsible for lab and other waste management, medical assistant and support, spill response, and much more.
