BIO
Glen Woodworth is a data science analyst on ACEP’s Data and Cyberinfrastructure Management team. His primary interests at ACEP include using graph theory as a modeling tool for energy systems and in power systems integration.
Currently working with the Power System Integration team, his main role is working with HOMER Pro to model possible expansions of a microgrid for rural community in Alaska.
Woodworth received a B.A. in mathematics and philosophy from the University of Montana
in Missoula, Montana in 2019. After taking a gap year to travel and volunteer abroad,
he returned home to Alaska to pursue a master’s degree. He received a M.S. in mathematics
at UAF in 2023. His master’s project focused on unpacking recent developments in determining
the computational complexity of the Graph Isomorphism problem.
