Savannah Crichton's work at ACEP centers around the nexus of renewable energy, land use and food sovereignty.

Crichton earned a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Yale University and pursued user interaction research, food systems, and community building as engineering applications. During her time in Connecticut, she led user research initiatives, designed online and print media, created tools to achieve food liberation and worked with community partners to further goals of social justice.

Her work at ACEP with the Solar research team, the Storytelling team and the Alaska Regional Collaboration for Technology Innovation and Commercialization (ARCTIC) team draws from her extensive experience creating sustainable and equitable designs.

Crichton always makes time to hike, garden, forage, paint, sew, and cook and eat with loved ones.
