Interior Gas Utility (IGU)

The Interior Gas Utility is developing plans and investing in infrastructure to provide natural gas to areas of North Pole and medium-density areas of the borough.  Residents of Interior Alaska have been eager for decades to benefit from low-cost heating solutions such as natural gas for home and business heating needs. While the community is weighed down with high energy prices and poor air quality, the future of the Interior looks bright.

This presentation will discuss the six phase build out plan to bring natural gas to homes within the Fairbanks North Star Borough. Bob Shefchik, IGU Board Chair, will discuss the details of the project that stands to bring energy relief to a neighborhood near you.

Out of town? This presentation will also be uploaded to ACEP's YouTube account.  Find this and other ACEP lectures at this link: http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNXWo6IF1w4KIPv4owxY5uw
