National Microgrid 2014 MVP Challenge

The DOE is sponsoring a microgrid competition with $100,000 awards in each of six categories, with the objective of facilitating greater energy grid resiliency and adaptation across the nation.  US organizations with operating microgrids are eligible.  ACEP estimates that greater than 10% of the worldwide remote microgrids are in Alaska.  Hopefully, many Alaska organizations will choose to compete and bring home a prize to our state.  The deadline for applying is August 29, 2014.  We’d love to hear from you if you choose to compete.
