2014 Alaska Wind Integration Workshop

Registration is now open for the March 20-21 Alaska Wind Integration Workshop in Fairbanks at the Fairbanks Pipeline Training Center.

This workshop is a great opportunity to network with peers, learn more about wind systems, and enjoy some excellent training and tour opportunities.

This two-day event will focus on wind systems in arctic environments with the first day revolving around training sessions such as Wind-Diesel 101, Wind-Diesel 201, HOMER Modelling, MET Tower Set Up, etc. The second day will highlight stakeholder presentations with dialogue on key topics such as energy storage, secondary loads, turbine selection, and operations & maintenance.
