ACEP Attends Microgrid RODEO Summit in Texas

Research Assistant Professor Marc Mueller-Stoffels and Research Technician Jeremy Vandermeer of ACEP were in Texas February 19-21 for the Microgrid RODEO Summit.  On February 20, Jeremey gave a presentation about one of the projects he is working on at ACEP, “Changing the energy mix in a remote microgrid: An impact assessment for Nome, Alaska”   A copy of his presentation will soon be available on the ACEP website.

The Microgrid RODEO Summit, hosted by researchers at the University of Texas at Austin’s Center for Electromechanics, featured presentations on current research directions, developed effective collaborations to advance the field of microgrid research and helped to identify important unmet research needs.
