ACEP Biomass Coordinator to Speak at Interior Chapter Alaska Native Plant Society

ACEP Biomass Coordinator, Amanda Byrd will be speaking at the Native Plant Society at the Cooperative Extension Service Building at UAF on Wednesday, January 8th .  The theme of the meeting is "Native Plants Fix Human Messes."

Amanda will be presenting on energy security using native plant species as biomass for renewable energy.  Jessica Bay will also be presenting on how Salix alaxensis could possibly enhance the biodegradation of diesel within the plant rhizosphere.

Time: 5:00pm - 5:30pm potluck/mixer, 5:30-6:30 presentation by Amanda Byrd and Jessica Bay

Location: UAF Cooperative Extension Service (CES) Building, Room 242

(Free parking after 5pm at Taku Lot or behind the CES Building)
