Registration is now open for the 2014 Biomass heating Integration Workshop

Biomass energy is a form of renewable energy, often conveniently located right near the community using the energy.  Facilities can experience heating cost reductions of 30% to up to 90% by shifting to renewable biomass energy. Successfully designing and implementing biomass heating projects is not difficult as long as you are aware of the unique requirements that a wood energy system demands.

The Alaska Energy Authority is sponsoring a technical Biomass Heating Integration Workshop featuring Professor Emeritus John "Siggy" Siegenthaler, P.E., a renowned biomass design professional with decades of system design, installation, and integration experience.

This is an excellent opportunity to join other Alaskan energy and engineering professionals in learning about the best practices of modern biomass heating system design and installation.
