Johnpaul Jones Wins 2013 National Humanities Medal

On July 22, 2014 Johnpaul Jones was awarded one of ten 2013 National Humanities Medals by President Barack Obama.

The National Humanities Medals are awarded to individuals or groups whose work has helped to deepen the country’s understanding and involvement in humanities.

Johnpaul was awarded for, “honoring the natural world and indigenous traditions in architecture.” (www.neh.gov)
