ACEP Intern Spotlight: Jeff Roba

There are a number of interns working for ACEP this summer.  To highlight them and their work ACEP will be presenting a short synopsis weekly on each throughout the summer in a series titled the “ACEP Intern Spotlight.”

Jeff Roba
Education:  Bucknell University, Pennsylvania
Field of Study:  Mechanical Engineering
Focus of Study with ACEP:  AHERC – Jeff will be focusing his time working for the Alaska Hydrokinetic Energy Research Center (AHERC) this summer completing a literature review of current debris and fish locating technologies.  Jeff will also be aiding in the deployment of a in river (possibly sonar) debris/fish detection device at AHERC’s Tanana River Hydrokinetic Test Site
Post Graduation Aspirations:  To work in the renewable energy industry, potentially on the West Coast of the United States.
