ACEP Summer Internship Program: Field Trips

ACEP’s Summer Interns tour energy related facilities as part of their Summer Program.  These tours provide the interns with valuable insight into how power is produced and distributed.  On June 16 the interns went on a guided tour of UAF’s vast utilidor network, walking approximately one mile underground with Mike Ruckhaus, Senior Project Manager with UAF’s Facility Services Department.

On June 27 ACEP’s interns will tour ACEP’s Energy Technology Facility with Marc Mueller-Stoffels.  Marc is a Research Assistant Professor with ACEP and leads ACEP’s Power Systems Integration program.
