The 2014 Alaska Wind Integration Workshop took place on March 20th and 21st
The 2014 Wind Integration Workshop took place on the Thursday and Friday of last week
at the Fairbanks Pipeline Training Center. Attendees participated in technical sessions
in the morning and afternoon on the 20th with ACEP ETF and Cold Climate Housing Research
Center tours occurring during the lunch break.
ACEP’s Marc Mueller-Stoffels was the moderator for panel #4 “Energy Storage Options”
on the 21st where
Phil Maker (Affiliated Research Faculty on loan to ACEP from PowerWater Corp. in Darwin,
Australia) presented on “Practical Applications for Islanded Grids.” View Phil’s
