Power Systems Integration Lab Program Director Travels to Europe

Marc Mueller-Stoffels will be in Europe for the next two and a half weeks attending the International Conference on Cold Climate Technology (ICCCT) in Narvik, Norway; the Intersolar Europe Conference in Munich, Germany; and will be meeting with researchers at the Technishe Universitaet Darmstadt in Darmstadt, Germany.

Marc and Philip Maker (PowerWater Corp., Australia) submitted an abstract to the ICCCT titled “Renewable Energy Integration in Remote Islanded Microgrids: Strategies and Limits.” Likewise ACEP affiliated researchers, Richard Wies, Rorik Peterson, and Nicholas Janssen also submitted an abstract to the Conference titled “Storage (GETS) Heaters for Islanded Renewable Energy-Diesel Microgrids in Cold Regions.”
