Jeremy Kasper travels to Washinton DC

Through AHERC's affiliation with the Northwest National Marine Renewable Energy Center, Director Jeremy Kasper was invited to Washington DC to participate in a briefing to the Alaska, Oregon, and Washington Congressional delegations and staff. The subject of the briefing is the "Current State of the Marine Energy Industry and Future Plans." Jeremy Kasper will present on marine and river energy projects around Alaska while Belinda Batten (OSU), Brian Polagye (UW), Andy Stewart (UW) will present on projects in their respective states. Representatives from the Department of Energy and the Navy are expected to be in attendance as well.
