ACEP Outreach Team Visits School at Eielson AFB
ACEP Program Assistant Max Frey traveled to Eielson Air Force Base where he gave a presentation about wind energy to students. Basing his lesson on President Theodore Roosevelt’s famous quote, “Do what you can with what you have where you are,” Max spoke to 90 to 120, 3rd through 6th grade children about where the energy they use comes from and how energy can come from many places. As part of his presentation Max also involved the children in a short wind turbine blade building competition.
