Pilgrim Hot Springs Documentary on 360 North
Tune in to 360 North on Alaskan PBS on October 20th for Frontier Scientists special on Pilgrim Hot Springs. Pilgrim Hot Springs is the hottest resource in Alaska that is not associated with a volcanic system. It has a long history of local use, and is listed on the national historic register. ACEP has partnered with the native corporations, local governments, and private sector organizations to assess the resources and help determine its feasibility to provide electricity to the city of Nome and for other uses.
Premiering on October 6th, the series will be featured weekly on 360 North, streaming online at 360North.org and available in Alaska over the air in Anchorage and Juneau Mondays at 8pm ,October 6th to December 8th 2014on GCI Cable, DirectTV, and Dish Network.
