ACEP Researcher George Roe to Travel to Washington DC

George Roe is in Washington, DC for the week of September 14.  He will be attending the 2014 Department of Energy: Office of Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability (DOE/OE) Energy Storage Program Peer Review and Update (https://share.sandia.gov/essPR12/index.php) and the American Energy and Manufacturing Competitiveness Summit (http://www.aemcsummit.compete.org/about/agenda).  Links will be available for the presentation materials that are posted for both meetings; the AEMC meeting will be simulcast, for those interested in viewing it.  George will also meet with personnel from the Department of Energy and other organizations to discuss opportunities for Alaska's microgrid expertise to be applied more broadly in the global marketplace.
