Washington Post Article Features ACEP

On Friday, August 14th the Tanana River Test Site was highlighted in the Washington Post on-line edition in an article titled, “How Alaska’s quest to power remote villages could help spread renewable energy worldwide.”  It was also issued in the print edition of the paper on Sunday, August 16th where it was the main article in the Business Section. The piece was written by Chris Mooney, a reporter who recently spent time in Alaska to report on the near record breaking fire season the State has experienced this summer. While he was in the area, ACEP was able to take Chris to the Tanana River Test site in Nenana to witness AHERC’s work with Oceana Energy Company.
